Artbid is Australia’s newest way to buy contemporary art. They host online auctions filled with hand picked works from Australia’s best artists. They approached The Meaningful Social Club to develop a launch strategy that would introduce them to Australian art lovers on social media.
The Launch
We took a strategic approach with their social media, developing a launch plan to make an impact quickly. Our approach centered heavily on premium creative content, as we recognised it was important to tell the story of each piece of artwork and focus on aesthetics for this design loving audience.

Instagram Reels
Elevated Instagram Reels were essential to our social media strategy. As a social media agency in Melbourne with an in house video team, we were able to visit the artist studios to easily capture this content.
Influencer Management
Integrating influencer marketing in our launch plan was a booster to maximise social reach and building THAT brand in the art enthusiast community. So for their first auction, we collaborated with one of Australia’s top home interior decorator and stylist, Bea Lambos (BEA+CO), to elevate our marketing on Instagram.
We were able to reach a wider audience and build a lot of excitement about the brand's first event. The collaboration was a success and we are now planning to work with more industry influencers in the future.
